Sioux City History & Culture by Bicycle Part 7: Grandview Park

Sioux City has an amazing park, called Grandview Park. It has 2 of the crown jewels of the city for everyone to enjoy. One is the band shell. This magnificent structure was built around the time of WWII. Every year during the 4th of July Weekend there is a free music festival called Saturday In The Park. Google the name of the event find out a lot more then I can tell you here about it. The Sioux City Symphony puts on free concerts as well as other music groups from around the area through out the year.

Behind the band shell on the toward the north end of the park is the Sioux City Rose Garden. A very beautiful & tranquil place to visit, take a stroll or just sit & enjoy the day.

The park, band shell & rose garden are easily accessable by bicycle. For a easy & safe route drop me a line & I will advise you how to get there via bike.
