Private Collection: Illustrated Wildlife Treasury, Card Storage Box

This is a card storage box for the Illustrated Wildlife Treasury cards. The cards were subscribed by parents of kids growing up in the 1970's and 1980's. It is how young kids could learn about wild animals they would not be able to go see in the wild. These existed long before resources such as Google and internet searching existed and began. Today it is very easy to find the information on wild animals. In the1970's and 1980's kids used the color information cards to learn about such animals.

The original owner of this box had the enitre collection of the cards at one time. The cards are gone now but the box is in a private collection in NW Iowa and today is used to store string, rope, twine, and pipe strap material.
