Private Collection: The Automatic Recording Safe Company, LaSalle State Bank, Savings Bank

Bank branches all across the United States used to offer savings banks like this one to customers to help them save money. This bank was offered by LaSalle State Bank in LaSalle, Illinois. The Automatic Recording Safe Company manufactured these savings banks. They were patented as early as the 1930's.
