Private Collection: Matchbook, L&M Cigarettes

Matchbooks were first invented in 1892. Over the last 123 years they have changed. Matchbook covers have always been a form of advertisement for the business or establishment who handed them out. Today they do not have as much graphics as matchbooks from the 1960's '70's or '80's.This matchbook advertises for L&M Cigarettes. Today this matchbook is in a private collection in NW Iowa:
