The flooding did not wash it away. If you step into the observation/lookout tower be very careful the stairs have come disconnected and are just laying there off of the deck.
The husband half of Team_Vod rode bike from work in North Sioux City to the trail system on the peninsula in Dakota Dunes and to the observation tower. On the way out I saw a white tail doe.
