Mitchell, South Dakota: Train Depot

The old railroad depot of the Chicago Milwaukee and St. Paul Railroad's was built in 1908 at a cost of $40,000 and was used over 40 years for passengers and freight.

It sat empty for many years until 1990 when it was renovated. Today it houses a restaurant called The Depot Pub and Grill and is on the National Register of Historic Places.
