Sioux City History and Culture by Bicycle Part 59: Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church

In it's over 75 years the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church has a rich history in Sioux City and been through a lot. The edifice was designed by William L. Steele. Built in 1925 so the more then 500 Greeks could attend services in Sioux City rather then travel to Omaha, Neb. for an occasional service. In the late 1990's the inside survived a fire but was damaged and was restored and rebuilt. As a result he church has stood as a testament to the perseverance of it's members.
