2007 was the Sioux City Orpheum Theatre 80th anniversary. To celebrate 80 years of what has been called the Crown Jewel of Sioux City a commemorative bottle of merlot was produced by local winery Valiant Vineyards of Vermillion, South Dakota. Along with the merlot they created a special label for the wine.
The current owner purchased the bottle of wine and kept the bottle in his private collection in NW Iowa.

Spirit Mound
Located a few miles outside of Vermillion, South Dakota is a historical and spiritual place called Spirit Mound. It is also know as Hill of Little Spirits. American Indians still hold this place as sacred and important to their culture. It is a place of peace and serenity.
Lewis and Clark encountered Spirit Mound during their journey in 1804.
If one takes the 0.8 mile walk to the summit perhaps they will encounter the peacefulness and spiritual goodness the facility offers.
