These wild animal remains were discovered at War Eagle Park in Sioux City, Iowa on Jan. 15, 2017. The remains are from a wild turkey. There is a pile of feathers in one location of the park under a tree. A few yards away there is part of the skeleton, on leg and foot and scattered in other areas of the park near the skeletal remains are larger feathers. It is unclear if this turkey died from an predator attack or from some other cause and then was eaten and scattered by scavengers.
