Wild Life: Dakota Dunes, South Dakota, Recreation Trail, White Tail Doe, 07/09/2019

his white tail doe was observed along the recreation trail on the peninsula in Dakota Dunes, South Dakota. She was standing at a "T" intersection of the trail very near the wildlife observation tower along the Missouri River.

Found it as part of Project 900.

The flooding did not wash it away. If you step into the observation/lookout tower be very careful the stairs have come disconnected and are just laying there off of the deck.

The husband half of Team_Vod rode bike from work in North Sioux City to the trail system on the peninsula in Dakota Dunes and to the observation tower. On the way out I saw a white tail doe.
