Private Collection: Baking Pans
These baking pans were used for making bread loaves. They are a strap style and can bake four loaves of bread at a time. It is unknown which bakery used them and how old they are. They are from Des Moines and could have been used by Colonial Bakery which was located at University and 2nd Avenues. The current owner inherited a set of three of the pans from the previous owner. They are in a private collection in NW Iowa and are going to be cleaned and painted to be used as flower planters during the spring and summer months.
