All of the photo's I have taken of he buildings and structures in SIoux City have been of the outside. This is for a few reasons.
1. I do not want to spoil the surprise of what is inside the buildings for the buildings that are open to public access and photo's are allowed to be taken of the inside. The idea is to give people an introduction to these sites to encourage them to visit to see what is inside.
2. Some of the buildings are govt. buildings with restricted access.
3. Some of the buildings are private businesses. I do not think it is approrpiate to take a photo of the inside of a business.
4. The buildings that are private businesses also restrict some of the access to the building. Unless a person works in that building they can not be in the building.
5. Some of the buildings are not vacant and there is no access except by whom ever owns the building.
6. Some of the buildings are a safety risk or health hazard and are sealed up with signs posted.
All of the photo's I havbe taken were taken on public property, city sidewalk or street. This is perfectly legal as long as it is done this way. All info. I have found or know about the buildings are from resources fully open to the public.
This blog is about historical and cultural sites, places and events all over the world visited by bicycle or that could be visited by bicycle. It is to show that a motor vehicle does not always have to be used and it is often better to visit these places by bicycle.
