Peace Pole

This Peace Pole and 49 others like it were given to all state governors and the President of the United States. "May Peace Prevail on Earth" is written in four different languages. Iowa's Peace Pole is located at the Iowa State Capitol Complex and is part of the Monuments and Memorials Tour in Des Moines.
