History and Culture by Bicycle Part 200: Sculpt Siouxland

It seems like only yesterday that I was posting the original Sculpt Siouxland post on this blog, which was History and Culture by Bicycle blog post number 1. Now here we are at the 200th. Seems fitting that on this anniversary post we return to where it all started.

As cultural things and events often change so has this. The Sculpt Siouxland project, sponsored by Sioux City Growth Organization, or SCGO has changed some of the sculptures that line 4th St in downtown Sioux City, from Douglas to Virginia. Some are permanent and are still there, others are new and have replaced previous statues. Here are photos starting from the SW corner of 4th and Douglas going east to Virginia and back on the north side of the street. Enjoy:
