These two whitetail bucks were observed in War Eagle Park in Sioux City, Iowa on May 20, 2018.
They were alerted to the presence of the person who took the photos but continued to forage an eat. Both deer are starting to grow what will become their antlers when it comes time for the rut or mating season later i the year. These two may become rivals during that time. One is larger than the other.
