Private Collection: Vintage/Antique Mitre Box Saw

This vintage mitre box saw was likely manufactured in the 1930's to 1940's. It was used by the previous owner in central Iowa. Today it is in a private collection in NW Iowa. Mitre box saws are still manufactured today but are made of plastic instead of hard wood and the saw handle is not nearly as ornate as the carved wood on this one.
