Geocaching by Bicycle: Introduction

This new series is about geocaching by bicycle. Geocaching is defined as: "Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location."

Geocaching started about 16 years ago, in May of 2000. Ever since it has grown into an international culture. There are geocache organizations, and clubs by region and state all across the world. These organizations and clubs host geocache events and even competitions.

The geocache sites in this series are locations easily traveled to and accessible by bicycle. It will show the geocache items found and logged with photos. Most geocache sites have a paper log the geocacher to sign and the cache site will be logged online as well.
