On permanent display in Leech Park in Spencer, Iowa is the mosaic called The Gathering, Of Time, Of Land, Of Many Hands. It was designed and built to celebrate the Millennium. The mosaic depicts scenes of rural Iowa:

Built in 1917 the main gate at the Clay County Fair in Spencer, Iowa has welcomed visitors to the fairgrounds for almost 100 hundred years:
