History and Culture by Bicycle Part 214: MONSTER TRUCK NATIONALS

On Friday February 18 and Saturday February 19, 2011 there were very loud rumbling sounds coming from the Tyson Event Center in Sioux City, Iowa. For a day and a half Sioux City hosted the Monster Truck Nationals. This blog author had the fortunate pleasure of being there to see and hear it.

Amongst the trucks at this event was the truck that started it all, BIGFOOT. Were it not for BIGFOOT trucks like CHALKBORAD CHUCK, STAR MARSHAL, LUCAS OIL STABILIZER AND HEAVY HITTER would not exist today.
