Vintage Tractor, 06/16/2019

This vintage tractor is parked at a field entrance near the intersection of Alder Avenue and 130th Street in Monona County near Sloan, Iowa.

It looks like it served its use and the farmer parked it at the field entrance as a display piece.

The tractor as a wooden box attached to the front that may have served as a custom built ballast box that may have held heavy stones to keep the front of the tractor on the ground when it was being used by the farmer.

It is unknown what the year make and model of the tractor is but it was well used.

Last find of the day and the last traditional geocache Team_Vod needed to find as aprt of the geoart series.

We have only one mystery cache left to find in the series and 5 multi-cahce's to find. But we are afraid we will not be able to complete the multi caches and thus not be able to complete the geoart series because there are missing stages on the multi's. We may contact hte CO's for the multi's to ask and offer help on maintaining them so we can complete the series and so others can do the same.

Found another of the geoart series.

When trying to retrieve the log the wire broke. We took it to our vehicle to replace the wire. When we opened the container an ant colony that was using the log paper as part of their home. We replaced the container and log with a new one. We let the ants go into the grass and CITO'd the old container and log out.
