The day this photos were taken the author did not ride his bike to the museum, but he has on many occasions in the past to the museum.
This photos were taken at the Sioux City Railroad Museum.
The railroad museum used to be the Milwaukee Shops when the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad, also known as the Milwaukee Road, was in operation. The shop was where maintenance and repair were done to the locomotives, rail cars and equipment as necessary to keep them operating on the railroad.
Today the museum houses a great many pieces from railroad history including steam locomotive 1355, Old Iron Horse. They have a lot of their building still standing and in use today for purposes of the museum.
