New Haddock Memorial

This new George Haddock Memorial was installed in the spring/summer of 2016. This is near the site where Reverand George C. Haddock was murdered in 1886 near an area once called Hells Half Acre in Sioux City, Iowa. Reverand Haddock is considered a martyr and hero by some because of his staunch and unwavering beliefs regarding prohibition in the late 1880's. He may als obe considered an enemy by others who disagreed with his position on prohibition.
