Tom Peterson: Pointers

Tom Peterson was a weather man for KCAU Channel 9 in Sioux City, Iowa. He was best known for his use of unique pointers when he reported the weather on the air. The pointers came from a lot of different people, companies and organizations over the years from the 1970's to the 1990's. Sadly his life was cut short in a deadly collision in January of 1994 with a snow plow. The Sioux City Public Museum has thousands of his pointers in their permanent collection with a few of them on display in the permanent exhibit section called "Siouxland Attic".
