On permanent display outside the Sioux City Art Center is the bronze sculpture by Michael Dunbar called Touched by the Sun. Touched by the Sun is part of Dunbar's series of works called Relics from the Future. It is the first of his full size sculptures to be installed west of the Mississippi River.
