Chandler Cowden: Tar and Gasoline
On display at the Sioux City Art Center, as part of the permanent collection, is this painting by Chandler Cowden:
Chandler Cowden has been a friend for over 50 years. I was totally unaware of his painting in the abstract expressionism genre. We have several of his pastels in our collection. At 85 years old Chandler is still sketching and drawing.
