RockN Rods

This past July 15 - 17 there was the first annual RockN Rods in downtown Sioux City. The event included drag racing, concerts, food vendors, skate board exhibition, pinewood derby races, cruising in classic cars, swap meet and classic car show and shine.

The White Pine Trail

If a person wants to ride bike 92 miles form Grand Rapids to Cadillac, Michigan they can easily do so on the White Pine Trail.

Along the Grand River, in Riverside Park is the 3.2 mile Riverside Trail. Uses can connect to the famous White Pine Trail and continue 92 miles north to Cadillac, Michigan.

The first public water filtration plant in the U.S. to add fluoride and one that helped eradicate Typhoid Fever deaths in located in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
